Art & Company Nativities

Behold, I bring you tidings of great joy!

If you missed seeing these charming nativities -- created by the members of Patchwork Central's Art & Company children's art program -- at the Holiday Sale earlier this month, you can still find a set to your liking at artWorks Gallery.

The nativities range from three to six pieces, and are priced as sets. They will be on display and available for purchase through the holidays.

Holiday Prep

The Annual Holiday Art Sale at Patchwork Central is carried over into artWorks Gallery, where we're decorating for the season and filling the space with unique art and affordable fine craftwork from members -- perfect for a handcrafted holiday. Watch for an unveiling this week.

Member note: our next meeting is Monday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m., and it's a party, so wear a funny hat or something.

Guatemalan Trunk Show

Guatemalan huiples ("hoo-we-plays") , traditional embroidered Mayan blouses, adorn the gallery walls through November 12th, as artWorks features the work of independent Guatemalan artisans and members of a center for Mayan textiles.

All proceeds from the sale of these Central American craft items support Cooperative Obra del Senor, a women's artist cooperative in Honduras.
